The last 10 days or so has delivered some incredible shoots for us ranging from capturing the World Wave Sailing Champions from both Kitesurfing and Windsurfing through to days when some of Tarifa’s legends all got back in the water at the same time for their first sail together in 8 years.

Tarifa has also been hit by some quite incredible storms and we were right there to capture these images. For the first time in nearly 20 years we have captured a piece of Tarifa’s history. Every photographer dreams of that ‘One Shot’, the one that everyone wants, well I shot 9 of them and I believe that I am privileged to have done so. These images are being mastered at the moment and will be available for purchase from M Rojas Photographic Processing in Tarifa, or directly from me.

Sizes will range from A4, A3, A2, A1 & A0, also we offer high quality prints, canvasses and a new type of hard backed high density foam print (incredible to hang on walls in any dimension or shape). Images will be available in fully mastered Colour, B&W and Sepia. Also a sequence option is available on all prints. Prices will start from 30 euros per print.

They really do look incredible close up. When you see them hanging on a wall, they stop you in your tracks with open mouths. These images are a true piece of history of what is rapidly becoming the World’s Busiest Watersports destination. Geographically this wave hit the exact southern most tip of Europe.

A big storm front and low pressure area way to the south off Africa has been forcing wind and waves our way and the buzz around Tarifa has been, ‘Just wait until Thursday’. Well ONE BIG THURSDAY lived 100% up to its name.

I got a call early this morning to go and shoot legendary names like Eduardo Bellini, Jaime Herraiz and Abel Lago along with Christof (Tangana’s)and Alvaro (Tarifa Kiteboarding company).

The swell increased and so did the light producing an incredible day, one of the biggest that I have seen here.

Hello everyone, you probably noticed that the site was running very slowly until it got to the point where it fell over. We only discovered too late from our host in America that we had been the subject of a direct attack to break the site! Very exciting and James Bond-esk. The Denial  Of Service attack was so aggressive that it also effected our host, so we have now moved to a new host and things will be better not to mention faster.

Your feedback is always appreciated so be keep the comments coming in.

On a photography front we have had some incredible shoots, including The Day Of Legends when Tarifa’s Best all took to the water in a windsurfing display that hasn’t been seen for over 8 years. The line up included Eduardo Bellini (Kite Pro Centre & 12 times Spanish Windsurfing Champion), Jaime Herraiz (North Kitesurfing), Abel Lago (KPWT World Wave Champion) Christof (Tangana) and Alvaro (Tarifa Kiteboarding Company). The images will appear on line later under the windsurfing gallery.

Firstly, we’d like to apologise for the site being so slow!

It’s been a never ending battle to sort this problem out with our current hosting company and finally we reached the end of the line with them and have decided to move to another provider.
