‘And The Wheels Start To Turn Once Again’
August 29, 2010 9:19 amHi and hello once again to you all for looking at our website.
Incredibly it has been 12 months since we returned from our Round The World Tour but in that time so much stuff has happened.
We have been busy doing private portrait shoots as well as our usual mix of commercial last minute ‘help we need this tomorrow’ work. Add to this a nice flurry of Weddings (£500 flat fee now!!) we have been pretty busy.
NEWS - Sadly 6 weeks ago whilst kitesurfing I attempted a massively powered move on a wave and almost removed my left foot from my body. Ever since I have been wearing a rather fetching airboot cast, which I am sad to say will stay on my foot for at the very least another 4 months. I am lucky though as apparently in Napoleonic times they would have just ‘lopped my entire foot off’ as this injury was considered so painful. But the great news is…..it is waterproof, so I can still do watershoots, just not kite. (El Generale is most specific about this)
Rather flatteringly due to popular demand I have been asked to do some travel writing about my experiences and my first column appears this month in Kitesurf Magazine which goes all over the world. I have also been asked to write a column in a new and very exciting magazine in Dorset called ‘Essentia’. It is aimed at the Society and Compass market and will be available around Sandbanks, Canford Cliffs, Alum Chine and Westbourne. I will of course put links up on here.
Thanks to the team at The Daily Mail for pushing our Parhelion Image all over the world as far away as Viet Nam!!
Wishing you all the very best of regards
